About me
Welcome to my information page where you can read and learn about me
Greeting I am King Raz. I am a artist who specializes in the use Bass in my music. I am mainly into heavy and hard hitting dark music. I also frequently create Dubstep and Electro anything deep with a good growl. When I was a kid I had alot of emotional problems and suffered from mental illness. When I was young I was always a angry and destructive child because I never really had any sort of outlet for my emotion. I started playing with music creation at around age 14 after becoming addicted to Source Direct and Juno Reactor (and abit of Prodigy) I also met someone who made Drum and Bass music. This was the trigger I started becoming very involved with attempting to create songs. Unfortunately at the time I could not afford any method of training there was no youtube and i was limited to Rebirth 101 so I had to completely teach myself everything. Throughout trying to learn music I have become familiar with many aspects of music trying to have a descent grasp of all ideas and theories including trying to teach myself music theory. All this time I was meddling but in the last 5 years I decided to switch gears and really try to get in touch with the people who really love this music and want to listen to and support it. I am gaining knowledge and utilizing everything and really hope that you will be a part of it with me. I want to thank you for visiting and coming to learn about me. I live amongst the shadows, I am your imagination, I am King Raz

Alot listen to my music and say that its grimey dark and distorted. I believe my music is dark because because I use my emotions to dictate where the melodies and bass take me. Hence I use hard hitting drums and angry insane distorted bass wobble going epic insane and crazy. I love the low deep grind and growl of my heavy tracks. I often use wobble but I do not typically create commercial dubstep music much. I like to create and think outside the box giving my tracks that dirty underground feel to them. My advice to my fans is sit back crank the volume and close your eyes and join me on a emotional rollercoaster through sound. Basically if you like loud crazy bass with hard hitting drum lines look no further then King Raz. The first time I went this route was on my song Broken Reality it consist of light strings to start but then explodes into a insane melody of heavy hitting synths wobbles and drums since then I have continued this tradition of bass creation
Alot of folks have asked what equipment i use so Im going to lay it all out for you. My DAW is and always will be Fruity Loops from Image Line I discovered it a long time ago and although I wasnt much good at making music I was however addicted to the process so I continued to use it day in and day out till eventually the time came for me to aquire it and go. When I went to Guitar Center and bought FL Studio 6 is was 600 USD I got the FL Bible with it also but nowadays isnt too useful. I currently use FL Studio 11 and I will likely never use anything else. It is available http://www.image-line.com/flstudio/ there for much less now XD. Anyways I had my DAW now I really needed epic sound I experimented with samples for a long while and although I couldnt find quite what I wanted so I looked into the issue. I then aquired Komplete 8 after much research and Q&A I went back to Guitar Center and got Komplete http://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/bundles/komplete-10/ on sale this time for USD $427. After I finally installed it which took 3 hours ISH I began to delve into it. I love everything about Komplete it provides serious and intense sound and ton and tons of it probably the best purchase I have ever made to completely overhaul the sound of my music. Now after I got complete I discovered new sounds that created a fire in my heart and once again became addicted. I feel in love with Massive and its intense distorted basses and grind and low and punch of it all. I created so many track with massive and now I use it frequently. I loved Kontakt and the great sounding strings it provided for all genres of music. The pianos are beautiful and extremely well made they provide nice touches to everything. The rest of Komplete is also awesome and extremely useful but thats not why I'm typing this anyways. I went through a ton of midi controllers I actually could really use a new one currently I am using a discontinued now M-audio Venom Synth Keyboard as a main sound board but it works for routing and unlike other M-audio products this keyboard is a instrument all on its ownhttp://www.m-audio.com/products/view/venom#.VO9rYvnF98E Information available there. I have had other like the Axiom 49 a Alesis and another M audio oxygen 49. I like the Axiom 49 the best the blue color is nice especially for any late night productions I plan to get a new one. So there I was pounding out my music like a crazy person day in and day out night time day time hell while im asleep years went by and eventually I discovered something that worked with NI Komplete a hardware drum machine called Maschine http://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/maschine/production-systems/maschine/ . Now at first I argued I dont need that and this went on for a few years. Then I started looking deeper into it watching youtube video and the whole lot reading all kind of reviews one thing I found consistent was increased workflow and that was important to me. So I eventually was turned into a Maschine craving looney man. Inevitably I aquired Maschine 2.2 which is what I am currently working with and learning about I use the the hardware and the VST through Fl Studio though sometime I do venture off onto Maschine standalone to better understand the device. As for my sound I have a pair of Mackie Monitors http://www.mackie.com/products/mrmk3-studio-monitors/ which ran like 300 and a pair of Shure headphones http://www.shure.com/americas/products/earphones-headphones/headphones/srh240a-professional-quality-headphones which I really need to replaced mine are beat up though i suggest them to producers on a budget if you need good bass headphones cant go wrong. That should explain my set up to everyone I hope if not shoot me a question under the contact page. I am currently working on the Groove3 site educating myself with music as I have not had any real form of formal training. I am also selling music and showing it absolutely everywhere for none exclusive licensing and for listeners. That process to get to where I am now was a pain in the ass but I am sure eventually I will write about it anyways Stay Tuned Ill be updating info alot more
Everyone Likes photos right I'll be needing to add more of those too I see!
